I’m Terah (pronounced Tear-uh), the founder and lead planner at 88th Events & Rentals.
I started this company in 2023, after being asked to plan a conference in Washington, DC—a moment that transformed years of hands-on industry experience into an independent vision. Prior to launching I had been working in the events industry since 2015. My experience runs the gambit from planning community festivals to working with one of the best full-service catering companies in the industry to learn about food, decor design, and all around event execution. - You name it, I've had the challenge of planning it!
In 2025, I expanded 88th Events & Rentals to include custom fabrications and décor offerings. This evolution allows my team to focus on the elevated details and the thoughtful, and intentional touches that make an event feel truly beautiful and memorable.
At the heart of my work is a people-first approach. I love getting to know my clients beyond the business transaction and building relationship's rooted in trust and ease. I pride myself and my company on being inclusive and creating spaces where guests from all walks of life can feel welcomed, considered, and cared for.
